A native of Oakland, California, an alumnus of San Francisco State University, I have been painting for longer than I care to remember. In the past I have given more time to watercolor, but spent several years creating serigraphs and teaching screen printing and watercolor. My work was sold by several galleries on the Pacific Coast and has been seen in juried and invitational shows throughout the U.S. My current emphasis is just to paint and write what interests me and enjoy the creative process. ...

This is one STUNNING watercolour!, John. I love how you capture Light despite the colour palette!! Your use of Colour, silhouette and wash is powerful, simple and beautiful. Bravo! I can’t imagine this one evaded commentary for so long! It is spectacular!
