A year or so ago I got it into my head to create a series of abstract paintings that would incorporate different materials that would provide a texture. For the painting, Conjunction, I attached a burlap type material and various other things that would create texture. Acrylic paint completed the work. The original has been sold but prints of this image have been quite spectacular.

BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION :I am dividing my time between painting and writing. A native of Oakland, California, an alumnus of San Francisco State University, I have been painting for longer than I care to remember. In the past I have given more time to watercolor, but spent several years creating serigraphs and teaching screen printing and watercolor. My work was sold by several galleries on the Pacific Coast and has been seen in juried and invitational shows throughout the U.S. My current emphasis is just to paint and write what interests me and enjoy the creative process. ...
