A year or so ago I got it into my head to create a series of abstract paintings that would incorporate different materials that would provide a texture. For the painting, Conjunction, I attached a burlap type material and various other things that would create texture. Acrylic paint completed the work. The original has been sold but prints of this image have been quite spectacular.

A native of Oakland, California, an alumnus of San Francisco State University, I have been painting for longer than I care to remember. In the past I have given more time to watercolor, but spent several years creating serigraphs and teaching screen printing and watercolor.
